Should I book a room now, or wait for codes to book for August?

We are going in August and want to stay at CSR. Should I hold the room now without the code and then call back and add the code later? Or should I just wait until the codes come out for August and then book the room? Please help. Any opinions?

In the past, I've held the room and paid the deposit on the rack rate. When the code comes out, they will apply it to your reservation.

I would go ahead and book now, that way you are guaranteed a room. Then when codes come out, just cal and apply it to your reservation.

If you're going to stay at CSR no matter what, reserve now. If you're only going to stay there if you get a discount, making the reservation right now won't help you. If there's an alternate resort you would stay at if no discounts become available, book there now, then change to the resort of your choice when and if discounts appear.

That's the way we do it.

Thanks for the advice! I think I will reserve a room now and then add the discount code when I get it.
