Tomorrow morning I plan to book a 2-bedroom at BLT for a special family trip in August at a cost of nearly two years worth of points. I really want a nice Magic Kingdom view but worry about spending that many points when I'm seeing so many photos of Magic Kingdom views that feature monorail tracks, parking lots, and the side of the Contemporary. Seeing the top of the castle across a sea of parked cars doesn't do it for me--I want a high enough floor to have a real view. From what I've seen, any view that's higher than the monorail line seems to be what I'd consider to be a good MK view. Any feel for what percentage of MK views are actually "good" views? How have they been about moving people to higher floors? I'm thinking maybe I'd be better off booking a lake view.
