Should I be worried?

I made reservations through Dreams Unlimited early in June for a trip in September. I went ahead and paid the whole thing. When checking for my reservation on the official site, it does not come up. I have also not received anything from WDW - just an email from DU. Is that normal? Maybe I will receive something closer to the travel date? I was concerned because when I booked last November for March, it was room only and I received a welcome kit within a week.

Are you checking on Disney's site or DU site. I used them last time and they gave me a confirmation # that I could use on their website to look up my reservation along with any ADR's that they made for me.

Never booked with DU, I did ask for quote but they could not come close to AAA for me. But AAA sends you packet at around the 40 day mark.

My sister and parents booked through Disney and they still have not recieved anything, cept for an invoice(bill).

Yes, I can get information from the DU site. I just thought since my payment went directly to WDW, that it might show up on their site. Maybe not. I guess I was just expecting to get something official in the mail.

If you book through a travel agent, your reservation will NOT show up on the Disney site at all.

That's right - when you book through a TA, it will not be accessible on the Disney Web site. The only reservations you can see on there are reservations made directly through Disney.

When you book a package, Disney will send your documents to your TA a couple of weeks before travel, then Dreams will immediately forward them to you!

In the meantime, I'm sure your agent would be happy to send you brochures, etc.!
