Should I be worried???

Here's the scoop...

Last week, I was checking the airfare on TWA's web-site and noticed that both of our flights had been cancelled. I called immediately and they re-booked us on earlier flights. (We were thrilled!)

I just re-checked the web-site and noticed that TWA has now re-added the late flight that we were originally booked on from STL-->MCO.

Should I be worried that they'll move us back to that late flight? Or am I safe because I already re-booked it. Also, will I receive anything in the mail from them regarding the new itinerary?

Thanks!
Beth

I wonder how many times it will change?!! I would also like to know the answer. Do they keep moving us from plane to plane?

Barring any further changes, what you are booked on is what you will fly. As to what you will receive in the mail, I would call TWA and ask.
Not sure what you mean by moving you from plane to plane. Can you be more specific in your question?

According to the TWA agent I spoke with, they will not be sending me a confirmation letter with my new itinerary. I expressed concern about the new security rules and she said that my original confirmation letter and drivers license would be enough and I would be given boarding passes when I check in.

On Sunday I realized (by checking the TWA web site) my original flights were cancelled and we called that day to be reassigned different flights. A STL to MCO was rescheduled just today at a similar time to my original flight but with a different flight number. TWA did not switch me to that flight. So rest assured that the flights you have now are what you are currently assigned to. But who knows what will happen with the TWA flights. There could be more cancellations in the future unfortunately. Keep checking the TWA web site for the latest information!

I think I am getting myself more confused, not to hard for me really. If I have this correct, once we are changed to a new flight we will stay on that flight, as long as it is not cancelled. For example we were changed from the 8:00 to the 6:00, so even if they bring the 8:00 back we will still stay on the 6:00. Correct? I feel like Pooh Bear with my very little brain, being stuffed with fluff.:D  Thanks for you patience and help.:)

Disneycrazymom, you are correct. It is just so difficult to explain. At least I can confirm that although they resecheduled a STL to MCO 9:40pm flight, gave it a new flight number but they DIDN'T switch me back that flight. E-mail me if you want to talk more about it. I'll give you my work phone number since you also live in St. Louis.

Thanks for the great information! As usual, everyone is so helpful!

I did ask if I needed to go pick-up any "hard" tickets and they told me no. They said that I will be issued boarding passes when we check in at the airport.

Disneycrazymom,
Whatever flight you are booked on is the one you will be on(this is barring any changes). They will not revert the ressie back to the original flight.

Thank-you all I understand now. I will plan on being on the 6:00. Who thought flying could be this complicated.:D

I just wanted to mention that when my flights were just changed from Reagan National to BWI, the CSR recommended that I go to the local USAIR office for hard tickets. Although not necessary, this would allow us to arrive only 90 minutes early to check luggage curbside and go directly to the gate. Having only my old electronic ticket receipt would require us to checkin at the counter with a recommended arrival time of 2 and 1/2 hours early.
