Should I Be Worried? Closed on May 1st and Still not in the System!

Closing is a legal formality and has nothing to do with getting your points or your ability to make a reservation. Accounts are set up first and within a couple of days, your points and contract will be added to your account.

Thank you for your quick response. So if we purchased while on the ship (Monday of this week), how long should I anticipate waiting before my points show up on my online account? When I log into my account, it says no points are available for banking because the contract requires my attention. However, when I call DVC, they don't seem to be able to tell me why it says it requires my attention. Also, when I try to view things, it says the financial documents are not available. However, I'm in the system, so maybe I just need to be patient? :rotfl2:

Just trying to make sure I understand everything. I was thinking my contract would close July 13th, and I wouldn't be able to bank my points until after that. I have to bank by July 31st since my UY is December. I had read somewhere else where it took around two weeks for points to show up after closing, so that's why this was concerning me. Thanks again for any input.:)

Call your Guide and have them bank your points. It's the last thing that they will do for you until you buy more points. :thumbsup2

Dealing with MS and Disney you have to be patient.

Your points are input by a different person and they take a couple of days to get around to it.

You mean I really have to be patient? I'm not so good at that one.:lmao: I knew that was going to be one of the answers I received before I ever posted though because I did just get off of the ship on Tuesday.:rolleyes1

After going thru my documents, I don't actually even have the name of the agent that sold to us. Is that something I could get from MS? If not, I have the name of another agent that was referred to me, so maybe I could call and ask to speak to her. ?? Thanks again for your replies. I lurk on the parks and cruise boards all of the time, but I'm brand new to the DVC part.:goodvibes Have a good weekend!

I personally would just wait until the points are loaded to call MS to bank. At least that's what my guide would tell me to do. :rolleyes1

You'll be in long before the banking deadline.
