Should I be looking at an accessible room?

Of I know i should probably already know the answer but I would love some guidance. I am not chair bound but will be using a scooter in the parks and on property most of the time. My disability has ups and downs so there are definitely days that standing in the shower will be difficult, however my kids really need a bathtub so I am thinking the accessible rooms probably have rol in showers not tubs? Looking at pop and AoA.
I do not want to take an accessible room from someone who needs full time wheelchair so I want to make sure I'd actually need it before booking but this is new to me. I should be able to get around within the room just fine especially since they are so small the bars in bathroom are a big help though.

i've been put in an accessible room at POP twice (even though it was not requested and no one in my party needed it).

the ones i stayed in did not have a roll in shower.
it was still a bathtub but with grip bars.
if i'm not mistaken there were also grip bars at the toilet as well.
also the beds and dead bolt are low.

if there's a chance you think you may need thses features i would definitely not shy away from asking for an accessible room.
the clearly have a number of them or i doubt they would have given us one twice.

There are 2 different types of handicapped accessible rooms.
One kind has a roll in shower that a guest can walk or roll right into without going over a big bump or lip. That would be a fully wheelchair accessible room with a roll in shower.

The other type is accessible with a tub as the other poster described.
