Should I Avoid MGM on ESPN Weekend??

It appears that ESPN Weekend on 3/3 -3/5 centers around MGM. I'm used to the crowd levels the first week in March and I've braved Soap Weekend which fell in the dreaded NJ Week a few years ago, but I'm wondering if ESPN will create larger crowds than that. I'm not a huge sports fan but I wouldn't mind checking out the action as long as I can do the attractions at MGM without 1 hr lines. Any experiences with this? Also, does anything special take place the the ESPN Club @ Boardwalk? We're staying at Swan and could stroll over there if something's up.

It doesnt really effect the park level. There will be a crowd around the Sorcer's Hat and Millionare is converted over to sports for that weekend. But has very little effects on the park.
