My female dog will eat anything food wise, including the algae tabs for the fish. That incident at least turned her off from lettuce, but she will eat anything else. She has gotten up on the dining table and eaten a pound of chocolate covered marzipan, she ate a bag of hershey toffee kisses a couple of weeks ago (took them out of a bag where they were "hidden"), foil and all, both of my dogs love grapes, raisins, etc. And nothing makes them ill. But if there is truth to the raisin/grape thing, it is news to me, but I guess they won't be getting any more of those treats. And as they are 12, maybe thats for the best.
