So far Disney has made annoucements regarding the cruises up till the Wonder's Sunday sailing, but I'm wondering what will happen with the 9/9 cruise. I know it's impossible to predict until we know how badly Port Canaveral is batter. I am worried about Shirley, Norm, and the port crew! And if it's bad, I wonder if they would bus the guests to another port or cancel the cruise. We were supposed to fly in tomorrow night, but of course that was cancelled. We haven't made any alternate plans yet...after seeing how bad MCO has looked over the past two weekends, I don't think it can take much worse of a battering and still stay open. I've sailed every hurricane season since 1998, and this is truly one for the record books.

My guess is that we'll end up having a 'day at sea'. Hhhmmm....I guess I'll have to schedule another one so my girls can see the Bahamas!

We're on that sailing date. It will be interesting to see what happens. They will lose alot of money if the cancel all together. I think if the port is not damaged, they will sail out of there and decide on a cruise to nowhere or maybe an alternate stop if CC is out of the question. If the port is damaged, I would guess that they would load from another port. I'm just guessing and hoping that all goes well. I can't imagine them trying to cancel and them rebooking everyone, that would push people's cruise's well into the spring. Good luck.

Amazingly, if we miss CC, this will be the first time for us in almost 40 cruises! We don't care about missing Nassau, as we pretend that's a sea day anyway, but I love CC so much. Oh well, it will be interesting to see what activities they add and how they rearrange the schedule.

We're on that cruise too. I'm curious as to what will happen and how soon we will find out. We live in the panhandle of FL and plan to drive to Gainesville on Tuesday, to the Port on Wednesday and begin cruising on Thursday. Everything depends on the path of Frances and the weather. I'm trying to stay positive!

Keep an eye on the news everyone. They just showed that Ivan will be in the Bahama's area around Wed. For those on the 9/9 cruise, we may be going on a cruise to nowhere. Which isn't bad. I will just be happy to have hurricanes out of my mind for a while and relax....and have some yummy food (especially desserts).
