Hello.Anyone who is at adisney now,do you think you can wear shorts? We leave tomorrow and just am double checking my packing

Thanks

We are leaving tomorrow to start our vacation, but we won't be in Disney until next week. I am not taking shorts at all. We live in the south so 60-70 degree weather is not shorts weather for us. It depends what you are use to.

We were there a week ago. During the day it was 72-76 degrees and shorts were fine and don't have to change for after dark unless you tend to get cold easily.

So when all us northerners show up there in the next few weeks, you will be able to spot us by the pale legs and shorts in 60 degree weather.

we just got back from a 10 day trip (1/27 - 2/5) I think I wore jeans 3/ 4 days and shorts the rest of the time. We do leave the parks by 7 ish (getting there before early before RD). Shorts and t-shirt were fine some days - other days I had something warmer on top (layers). When the sun is out it really warms you up nicely.

It is good to note you are asking a very subjective question. You hit the nail on the head when in a later post, you noted you were from the northeast, so since it is been so cold, Florida temps will feel warmer to you and you will be comfortable.

However, it should be noted that not everyone can wear shorts in that type of weather. It is best to consult the local TV station, check out the weather report about two to three days before (it will change drastically over a longer time period).

Say it is 75 during the day, but in the mid 50's at night. I could be standing next to you in a pair of shorts and a hoodie and you could be wishing you brought a pair of pants to change into later in the day.

It is all what you are comfortable in when it is that same temperature at home.

Are there lockers still available at the front of the parks to put a change of clothes in for the evening?

Was there last week. I'm from the Midwest so used to colder weather. I wore capri length jeans and a lightweight tshirt most days that had a high in the 60's and was fine. (needed my hoodie or a lightweight sweat shirt early in the morning or after sunset) The last day was in the low 70s and I would have been fine in shorts during sunlit hours. I basically wore the capris and jeans in the morning with my zip up hoodie jacket or my long sleeve overshirt. By 11ish I had I put the jacket in my backpack or around my waist (there was one windy day where you needed the jacket anytime you were shaded), by 5 the jacket needed to be back on. It was the week that they had a lot of cold wind coming in (the week of the snow storms up north) if not for that wind I probably wouldn't have needed the jacket as much as I did.

We were there in November during a cold snap, with highs in the mid-upper 60s most days. We're from Buffalo so are pretty tolerant of the cold, but we wore jeans and hoodies every day. We were cold walking around, especially since it was overcast, and we were especially cold on the outdoor rides that whip you through the air. Even on days it got into the low 70s, it was still pretty cold until about 1-2pm. I still wore pants and had on a t-shirt, and tied my hoodie around my waist.

We live "locally" (to the east).

Shorts would be a good idea.

However--may not work at night unless you are accustomed to much colder weather.

Last Saturday, I wore pants and I was a but uncomfortable in the daytime but by night, I was glad I had pants even at 35 weeks pregnant.

I just checked the temps and day times could be shorts-worthy. Night times (for me), not so much.

I would look at forecasts, bring both pants and shorts and decide based on your own feeling. I'm from north east, born and raised, and no way would I wear shorts in 60-70 temps. We found few mornings in October too cool for shorts and all day too cool for water rides. My kids are the same way. Thankfully we are moving to Florida soon!

We just got back and weather was all over the place! We didn't wear shorts but saw some people who did. One day was so cold we saw a lot of toques and gloves, other days were quite warm. For us, it was mostly jeans and tshirts, with sweaters for early morning.

Take shorts, long pants, a rain coat and sun tan lotion. You'll likely use them all.

Seriously.
