Just over 2 weeks away from our first WDW trip! Just wondering if I need to pack tshirts and shorts? Will it be that warm that we can wear them during the day?

This will be our third year going Thanksgiving Day until the first week in Dec. We wear shorts, a t-shirt, and a sweat shirt which gets tied around our waist when it warms up. We do wear blue jeans to nighttime events like MVMCP.

It can get up into the 80's during the middle of the day. Anything over 60 is shorts weather for me while in Florida. I just throw on my sweatshirt if I get cold.

I have heard of there being cold weather during Nov/Dec but I guess we've been lucky.

I totally Agree! I guess it depends where you're from, but my family wears shorts most of the time, occasionally the temp dips, so be prepared. But, its shorts for us. Enjoy the "warmth" of Florida in Nov and Dec. :Pinkbounc

It's always shorts for me too! If I get cold, I'll put on a sweater or sweatshirt.
Even most nights, I'll stay in my shorts. You'll definitely want to pack clothes for both warm and cooler temps.

...but mostly for warm!

Three years ago it seemed so strange to be swimming outside on my Dec. 1 birthday. Something I'd never do at home in Ohio!

We've always had warm weather except for about 6 years ago. All of the above advice is good. Dress for the sunny days and have something to slip on when it cools down in the evening. MinnieMommy, thanks for the AccuWeather link. It looks like we'll have "mostly sunny" to "abundantly sunny" weather for the whole week. I can hardly wait! Have a wonderful trip everyone!

Hi, We were there November 19-27th last year as we will be this year and we wore shorts and tees everyday. At night it does get quite cool and you will need a sweatshirt or a fleece.I am from New England so 60 is great for me as well. I did check the weather bug and this week it looks like it has been in the 80's with the lows at night in the high 50's low 60's.Sounds good to me.Have a wondeful trip.I can't wait myself! :sunny:

Being from a more temperate state (Maryland), I find the average temps in WDW during early December to be usually too cool for shorts. I have seen temps in the 70s, but below 70 is too cool for me to wear shorts.

However, on many days it will get plenty warm enough for t-shirts. On a few days it might even get warm enough for shorts, but the night temps go down enough to make them uncomfortable so I rarely wear them in early December.

Pack several pair of long pants, 1 pair of shorts, all short-sleeve shirts, and a couple of sweatshirts. Check the 7-day forcast the day before you leave to see what the high and low temps will be, and if they are expected to be warm enough, you can add some more shorts to the packing list.

I am from Pa so again anything over 60 is short weather. But we went down last year Dec 23 - Jan 2 and at night it did tend to get a little on the chilly side especially waiting for Illuminations. My DBF can tolorate the cold better then I can and he was even putting a jacket on but still in shorts were I was putting loose fitting pants over my shorts and a jacket. But not a heavy winter jacket like I have seen in the parks. I have seen people with winter hats and gloves and scarves on as well to people with shorts.
