Shorten Reservation and Keep Discount?

If I make a reservation with the current room only discount and then need to shorten our stay later, will I lose the discount?

We are hoping to go for 8 nights. We may have someone with us for 4 nights. If she goes on the trip, we will stay in POP 4 nights and POR 4 nights. If she doesn't come we will stay in POR 8 nights. I was thinking of booking 2 rooms for POP for 4 nights and 1 room for 8 nights at POR. I'll then either cancel POP or shorten POR depending on what happens.

Is there any way to make one deposit for both POP rooms? Is the deposit a certain percent?

You should be able to shorten your stay on Room Only and keep discount.

I believe you will have to put a deposit for each room. The deposit amount is one night's rate. They will use the highest nightly rate for the deposit.
