Shorten or lengthen stay penalties

I booked our trip for march 2014 today but the more I think about it we may fly down after work a day earlier. Is it better to add a day now and possibly cancel it later of just wait and see what happens

I would add it now so you know you have it. The longer you wait, the more chance there is of others booking your resort/room category and you ending up with no availability that first night.

Did you book a room-only or a package? With room-only, you can cancel up to 5 days prior without penalty. With a package you can cancel/modify until your balance is due at 45 days prior without incurring any penalties.

This . It's always easier to cancel a night than it is to add on later.
