Thanks for the map! :thumbsup2

You let that little secret out of the bag :rotfl: guess I will be running into lots of people this weekend when I am taking my short cut :thumbsup2
I am really surprised of how many people did not know about this. I am surprised of how many people never take it even when they do know about it..

You're going to find it so empty there anyways. We were there in the third week of September last year and it was very, very quiet.

We did the shortcut when we went last May (weekend before Memorial Day weekend). I was terrified it would be crazy busy and it was TOTALLY not! We ran straight for Forbidden Journey and the biggest problem was that we went through the queue too fast. We ended up that day riding every major ride in IoA, both dragons, and Forbidden Journey twice. Oh, and we had no plan because that was before I was crazy ;)

We were just there last week for the first time and I had read this tip in a book. Very few people were using it. Crowds were pretty light, but very morning we would watch the crowd go straight as we turned left at Green Eggs and Ham.

Another thing worth mentioning; the shortcut goes past very lightly used drinking fountains and restrooms on the side of GE&H. The restrooms were always empty and very clean.

Must have been a lot of DIS-ers in IOA this morning, because almost everyone in front of us took the shortcut....FJ was still a walk-on, though....

When we were there earlier this month we took the shortcut several times and almost everyone else took the long way. DH said you would think more people would catch on to this

We used it in September and only 1 other couple used it, we were in the f9irst group fo Olinanders, thanks to the shortcut!!

We were there on Tues, 9/11. Once the turnstiles opened, everyone took off towards Seuss Land. The majority of the people took the shortcut. And it was pretty much a race! Anyways, we get to FJ, walk on and think everything is going good. Then just a few feet from the ride entrance, we came to a halt. We then waited a long-g-g time for the ride to get going again. Many people left the line and exited. We almost did the same, and then finally it started up again.

Later on, we were on Spider Man, and it broke down. We waited in the ride vehicle for quite a while, then the lights came on. After quite a long wait, they escorted us out of the attraction. Not a very good time!

We tried to make the best of the rest of our afternoon, and went over to US. We saw the parade, which was nice. We went searching for something to eat later, and found out that most all of the restaurants had closed down for the day, even though the park (we were at US now) was open for several more hours. We ended up just leaving and went back to our Disney resort room.

We had 1 day park to park tickets and left without doing several rides. There were a couple of other set-backs, too. However the FJ and SM break downs were the most time consuming.

i only saw a handful of peeps using the shortcut last month on the days i did early entry.
