Shortcut to Harry Potter?

I've seen a few posts where people talk about a shortcut to WWOHP...I always thought you just go into IOA...hook a right toward Seuss...go around through Atlantis land....and youre there......Is there another shorter way???

The shortcut you are referring to is a shorter way through Suess Landing. Instead of following the main path--which leads around the Caro-Seuss-el and past One Fish Two Fish and Trolley Train further on--cut left as soon as you enter Seuss and stay left of Green Eggs and Ham. Follow the left path along the water and it'll skip past all that and bring you out to the bridge to Lost Continent, which you must pass through to get to WWoHP.

ETA: Forgot I had a map for this. Blue line is the shortcut, red line is the main path. Green you pretty much have to do.

I think most people go the long way. Those that do the shortcut have either been there before or trust that the people they're following know where they're going.

I love that shortcut, my feet REALLY love that shortcut. No one takes it because it looks like a cast member path - there's nothing directing you that way, it's a much smaller path than the main path and it doesn't look like it goes anywhere.

IME most people go the long way..We knew about the shortcut and took it on our visit in Jan. No one else followed us but the people that we were talking to.Everyone else went the long way.It is not marked/obvious so unless you look for it, it is easy to miss

The shortcut is great! When we were last there we did early entry 3 days - many/most of the people were doing the shortcut. The trip before that it was the other way around.

Word got out!

Really, I think people were just following the others.

Do you mean this one in the far left background here (partially obscured)? If so, no. You turn left before this arch and take the path to the left of Green Eggs and Ham that hugs the water. The path I am referring to is just out-of-frame on the left, and branches off immediately at the entrance signage to Seuss Landing shown.

Once in LC, just stay on the main path (my green line). You can see that unlike in Seuss, it pretty much takes you on a straight line. There are no significant shortcuts through there.

2nd this..And do NOT take the Bridge on the left near the Fire Eaters Grille..It leads to Jurassic park, not Harry Potter
