Shortcut in MK to main entrance

We were watching the fireworks at MK in front of Crystal Palace the other night, and when it was time to leave we followed a family into what I think is Casey's Corner. Turns out you can follow this all the way to the Emporium and leave at the exit near the main exit, skipping all of main street. From then on, we used that shortcut as a way of having either an air-conditioned route past main street or to keep out of the rain. It was a great way to beat the crowds on main street especially after the parade!

I hate to encourage a million people walking though the shop, but it was a nice shortcut and might come in handy for someone!

We did this last month. We had a p.s. & when we got to MK the parade was going thru.....we went thru the shops all the way to the end, hardly anyone was in the shops since everyone was outside watching the parade & we got thru there very quickly. It would of took us forever to try and get thru the crowds.

This also works equally as well on the left hand side of the street. However, you can get out of the parks on the left side of the street while parades are running easily, as when you exit the buildings you continue on the sidewalk all the way to the walkway under the train station without having to cross a street.

Both shortcuts are great and I honestly don't think Disney minds a bit that we suck up their ac on our way through. How many times do you stop to buy something? Hm?

This may be a silly question, but do the Disney double strollers fit alright in the shops to do this?
