We will be at WL during Labor Day weekend and need suggestions on what to do. It will be myself, DH & DD's (ages 3, 2 & 11 months). Other family members are going but will be doing their own thing some of the time.
I am sure it will be very busy that weekend at the parks. Thought about maybe going to one of the water parks or maybe going to the MK little ones extra magic hours.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I can leave youngest child with her nana & papa for a day so I can do an activity with the older ones.

TIA!

Hi, We just returned from a short Disney trip in May with a 4-year old and a 2-year old. We are going back the week of Labor Day... the first trip was just too short :) We have not been to the water parks yet, and while I hear that they are fabulous, I have also been told that they are not the best place to go with very young children, and they are extremely crowded during the summer. I would suggest you get yourself a copy of "The Unofficial Guide". It is fabulous - full of great ideas and suggestions for touring the parks with little ones. Their website will even give you fairly accurate predictions about which parks to go to or avoid on any given day. You will need to pay a small fee to access this info or if you have the book, you can get access to this data for no additional fee. I read 4 books on Disney before our last trip, and this one was by far the most useful.

The Pirates & Princess Party is going on, on Aug 31. I hear that's a wonderful time to go - park shouldn't be too crowded. You have to purchase tickets. We have ours!

Good luck and have a great time!

Thanks for the response!

We also went for a three night trip in May. It was our first trip & we spent too much time trying to go to the parks & make dining reservations. I did read birnbaum's which helped. This trip I just want to relax & maybe only visit MK once. I was just looking for things to do that don't involve the parks. Although the P&P may be a really good idea. Do I need park admission as well as P&P admission ticket?

Nope, you get into the P&P with the party ticket, no other admission ticket is required. We have done all of the holiday parties, they are fun and don't use a day of your admission which is a plus!!
