Hey all. Long time lurker, first time poster.
My wife and three boys (6, 3, 9 Mon.) are currently planning our third trip to Disney. Very first time we went was during August a couple years ago and while it was amazing, the heat was more intense than I would have imagined.
Our second trip was this past Oct. and it was so much more enjoyable. It was warm, but not end of the world hot.
Keep in mind I'm from Newfoundland and work in Labrador. It was -80 with windchill for a full week at work this month, and I was out in a t-shirt shovelling snow a couple days ago at -4. I'm used to the cold. I hate it, but I can deal with it. Extreme Heat though? I'm not a fan.
Anyways, we are planning our third trip for 2014. Due to work though, it's either a week - ten days in April or two - three weeks near the end of August.
So it's a short trip during a cooler but much busier period, or a longer trip in a much hotter but less busy season.
What would you do?
I'm pretty sure which way I'm leaning, but wonder what everyone else thinks.
