Hi, Im a non member trying to rent points for a stay in december. I need 245 pts, if I rent 215 pts can I just pay cash for the difference, or is there another way to do this?
Thank you for your time.

You can only rent 'whole' days on points. It is possible to also rent a night or nights through CRO for cash if they have availability. There would be no guarantee that you could stay in the same room, since you would have 2 separate reservations. The best way would be to rent all 245 points from the same source. This would also probably be the best money deal as well. Good luck.

Points are of no value to non-members. You are actually renting a reservation. You must rent enough points to make a reservation. If you want to stay longer, you can rent the rest of the days through CRO/WDWTC (subject to availability).
You may have to change rooms between the points stay and the cash stay if you go that route. (To minimize the chances of having to move, ask the owner to cross reference your CRO reservation on the points reservation and ask CRO to cross reference your points reservation on the cash reservation. Both reservations should have a request not to change rooms, and you should repeat/mention it again when you check in). At a minimum, you will have to go to the front desk and check out and back in again.
