Short Notice Waitlist Success!!!

Just had to share b/c we are so excited!!! Very last minute (Wednesday, May 7) decided to go with DH to Orlando for business & make it an anniversary celebration trip, too, so we decided to see if we could use our DVC for accomodations for May 21-23. Of course, the realization that this is Memorial weekend smacked me in the face when I called MS to find out everything from studios to 2 BR's were sold out.

After hashing out our options, we decided to waitlist for a week, which would take us to the 7 days out & then either switch to a regular Disney room on points or do something Priceline. MS waitlisted us for basically anything, anywhere (we figured even a 2 BR was less points than switching to a regular hotel room). By Friday (May 9), I pulled up "My DVC" & found that we have a 1 BR at SSR!!! We are thrilled & had to share with those that would understand!!

Yeah......many congrats.......I love to hear when the waitlist works....I currently on it for fall for a GV at OKW.....high hopes. Have a fabulous trip!!!

Congratulations!!

We are calling MS tomorrow to see if there is a studio or one bedroom available anywhere for June 2-4th. My husband and I just decided today to take a quick little trip without the kids. I am really hoping we have the same luck as you!!!
