Short notice trip..

My DH called me at work and asked if I would like to go to WDW for a long weekend in October. Sure, you don't have to ask me twice. We own at OKW and wanted to stay there, but there were no studios available for the weekend we are going. They had 1 night at VWL and 2 nights at the BW. I couldn't believe that, especially since it is during the food and wine festival. They also had availability at SSR. I opted to book there, as we might have friends join us and I know there are rooms available.

So we are going and I am really excited!!! Just wanted to share!

We own at SSR and stayed there once already in a studio. If you can get a non-first-floor studio, be sure to do that - the balcony is really nice, especially overlooking the water. We'll be there the first weekend in October as DH is running in the Food and Wine 10K.

I called earlier in the week for a long weekend in Oct, too. They had no studios at all for my weekend. They had one bedrooms at OKW and SSR, but we really wanted to be near Epcot. The whole trip is for the food and wine festival! So .. we are staying at the Yacht Club.

There was a day here and a day there at BWV and VWL, but we didn't want to split a short stay or be on the waitlist. There was nothing to be had at all at BCV!

You'll like SSR. We just returned from a week there. Loved it. It was our first time. We usually stay at the BW but wanted to try "our new" home away from home.

We'll be down in October also for the F&W. Three nights at the BW and I can't wait!!!!!!!
