Short notice reservation?

I just found out that I do indeed have President's Day off (new job and still learning the ins and outs) so since I have a three day weekend and we just became DVC members what are the chances that we could get a studio or one bedroom for the upcoming weekend? I don't want to call and ask until we have our member number from our guide which we should get tonight. I know that anyting is possible but I don't want to get my hopes up even just a little if there isn't a snowball's chance. It would be a super short trip but I want, almost feel the need, to stay at a DVC resort now and I need a new Tink sticker for my new vehicle since dh took over my old one and De-Tinked it. The personalized Tink related license plate makes more sense with a picture of Tink on the back window.

Good luck. This weekend will be VERY tough to get. It fills up way ahead of time. On the other hand, there are always last minute cancellations and maybe you will be the beneficiary.

I gave my deposit yesterday. I called the reservation number and they not only helped me with my reservation they gave me my membership number.

Because of weather problems at home, we wound up spending an extra night at WDW on Wednesday. Found out at 3:30 pm that our flight was canceled, called DVC immediately and got a room at BWV for that night. Of course next week is the start of high season, but you won't know for sure unless you call.
