Short day at Disneyland

My family and I went to DL tonight and arrived at the park at 8pm. Space and Splash had just run out of FPs in the last half-hour, but Indy still had them and the return time was not that late (10:20pm). Granted, it was a Wed night, but don't count out FP availability without at least checking. You are arriving around 5pm (maybe earlier) so it's worth a try. If you can get a Space FP and do Single Rider for Indy, you'd save some serious time. When you arrive at the park, check the tip board at the end of Main St just before entering Adventureland. The standby wait times will be posted, but the CM can also tell you if there are FPs left for certain attractions. They will call individual attractions to find this out for you so you are not running all over the park to find this out on your own. Good luck and have a great time!

You might find FPs for Indy, in fact it's quite likely you will, but Space may be out. You can ask at the information booth, she will see if FP is still available and let you know. The information booth I'm referring to is next to the wait time board at the end of Main Street, altho they may be closing it down right as you're getting there.
Use single rider lines wherever you can, we don't use it much because we go with at least 2 in our group but just ask the CM at the front of the line for a SR pass, if they are available they will hand you one and give you instructions. :) Be prepared to sit with others tho, SR's are used to fill empty spaces on rides. :)
If you get into ANY line before 12:00 am you can ride, so if you want to Space at 11:59 you can ride, you'll have to wait in line with everyone else but you can ride.
Most of all, have a good time and be flexible, you should be able to hit everything you want to in that time frame. Oh ya, the rides in FL that close, they do reopen after the fireworks so if you are in the right place at the right time you can walk right on. We tried with PP once but there were others already waiting so they were guessing it would be a 30min wait.
