Short about 10 points

I am short about 10 points and unable to borrow points from next year due to a big trip we have planned. Am I able to purchase the extra points? How would that work? Thanks!

You could have someone transfer 10 points to your DVC accout. I am not sure if people post transferable points on here or not, but if you could find someone who has 10 extra points, you could buy them from them and have them transfer them to your DVC acct. One transfer is allowed per use year.

If you weren't able to get a transfer, you would have to use cash for the last night of your reservation. You can't mix points and cash for a single night. Either all points or all cash.

Or if you can't find a DVC member who will transfer only 10 points, maybe you can have another member reserve a night of your vacation. Someone may be more willing to do this as it will not take up their only transfer for the year. It is easily done and can be linked to your existing reservation.

You might use more than 10 points in your 1 night reservation, but it will still be an inexpensive way to get your last night.

Or you could do a 25 point add-on contract...since you've borrowed all your points, it sounds like you may not have enough points for you normal vacation needs.
