Short 1 night at Aulani, ideas on on hotel?

Am on the wait list but the way my flights work out we get in a day early. No availability.

Any suggestions on a hotel close to the airport maybe in case my wait list does not come thru. We get in late at night so close to the airport I guess would be my first choice, unless there is something by Costco.

We are also not able to get into Aulani our first night. I think your choice will be between the hotel near the airport or in Waikiki if you have a car. I don't believe there are any hotels out towards the Costco in Kapolei. We are staying the first night in Waikiki at the Ilima Hotel.. It's older but number 30 on tripadvisor with decent reviews. We aren't expecting much just clean and good bed to sleep a few hours. Also, free parking for $150 total. I opted for a $20 upgrade or it would have been less. We can't wait for our return trip to Aulani in Mid March. It's been 3 long years since we visited last.

We loved, loved, loved the Hyatt Place in Waikiki. Great rooms, breakfast, service and location, and the price was great as well. I would definitely stay there again.

Any of these resorts have airport shuttles? Thinking I could save 1 day on a rental car.
