Hi all!

We are cruisin' for the first time on the Wonder on Jan 29. We're trying to come up with a shore excursion for Nassau that both my daughter, age 6 and my son, age 11, will enjoy. My son is handicapped (he has autism) so it would really help if I could get some details on how anyone liked the excursions. Did anyone do the dolphins or stingrays? How was it? Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanx to you and happy holidays!

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

I can not help with those two excursions, but hopefully someone else will. From these boards, I've heard alot of good thing about both.

We did do the blue lagoon beach day. It was very nice. It had a shallow inlet that was nice to play in.

There was also a snorkeling area. I'm not sure what your ds can do-sorry if that didn't sound right. I'm not very good at expressing myself sometimes. This area was a walk-in to the snorkeling over rocks. There were a lot of "little creatures" to watch just sitting on the beach here or in the shallow area on the rocks.

Have fun!

Whatever you do, do not go on the historic tour. It is disappointing for adults and children would hate it. You would be getting in and out of vans and listening to uninspired canned talks.
