So when I was a young kid, my mother would take my siblings and I in June school shopping. I have starte shopping for Fall, the other day I went to LL Bean and bought some beautiful sweaters for $19.99 marked down from as high as $80.00 I even got a nice messenger bag for $19.99 that was $45.00. I enjoy shopping in brand name stores and getting some great bargains at this time of the year.

Anyone else shopping for Fall/Winter?

Yeah, I'm feeling the pinch on that right now. While I was in the hospital, I lost 80 pounds and absolutely NOTHING FITS!!! So, I am in the process of replacing every shirt and pair of pants and shorts. My budget is so feeling the hurt.

I always buy ahead for the kids. With the things I bought last week at Gymboree they have more than enough clothes for Fall and Winter.

Last winter I bought for this coming fall/winter. I bought Children's Place and Gymboree pants for my son for $7-10, sweaters for $10-12 and tops for $5-7. He's fully set for this fall/winter now and I don't think I spent over a total of $150. I love shopping ahead and luckily my son is at an age where he doesn't grow too fast and I can judge his size fairly well.

I've already done alot of fall shopping for my daughter. I hit an amazing Macys sale a few months back.

My dd is so thin, that the skinny jeans fit her like a regular pair of pants. Macys had all their clearance 50% off. They had skinny jeans galore! I got her 6 pairs of jeans (including Levis brand), 1 leggins outfit, and 5 sweaters/shirts for $10!!! (ok I do have to admit I had a $25 gift certificate from doing surveys)

I wish I could but my DS is growing so fast that if I got him clothes now for the fall they would be too small by then.

To make back to school shopping fun for the whole family we take a weekend and stay at a hotel by an outlet shopping center and spen part of the days shopping and the other half swimming and playing around. We always look forward to it and it doesnt hurt that the place we stay at is in Ft Myers !

I buy things here and there when I find a good deal. I bought 6 pairs of jeans for my boys at Crazy 8 a couple days ago for $6.99 apiece and got $20 crazy cash. I'm also watching some jeans for my oldest ds on ebay right now. My biggest expense this year is going to be clothes for my DD. She just turned 14 and has grown so fast, nothing fits her anymore. I'm too scared to buy before August, though, I'm afraid she'll outgrow everything before school starts :rotfl:.
