Somebody told me there are 3 outlets. Are these in the parks, downtown disney or hotels? I have never heard of this,

Are you talking about the Disney outlets? They are out in Orlando, not anywhere on Disney property. You’d have to drive or take an Uber or something similar to get there. The ones we’ve been to are in outlet malls in Orlando. If you use Google it’s easy to find the addresses. Try looking for “Disney Character Warehouse.” There’s also one that’s a little farther away (I think about an hour and a half) that’s on our bucket list, but we never seem to get to it.

The one on Vineland Ave is probably a little bit bigger now. They quite often have different merchandise. If I only have time for one, I tend to go to the Vineland Ave one.

Check out youtube for videos. There's a couple people who post videos of what's currently available, so you can get an idea of whether or not you want to take the time/effort to get there. The Vineland one is bigger. They open at 10, and there's always a line to get in, as well as a long line to check out. They are super popular and crowded.

We will be taking an Uber to the Vineland location next trip. Can't wait!

We prefer vineland over the one on I drive. It's on our way back home so that's just easier for us off of I-4. I will say, most visits we don't buy anything since it's very hit or miss and we just spend the time visiting some other stores at the outlet mall too.

I don't know what you're expecting but it's mostly overstock of items that really weren't that great to begin with so they end up at the outlets. There's overpriced toys that were never going to sell in the parks and off season items (stuff that's got years/holidays on it). There are occasional good deals but don't get too hyped. I was excited for our first visit and was disappointed and parking is not easy either. We've never had a line to get in but it is pretty crowded even at opening.

The one on Vineland is a bigger store and it's closer to disney property. I was disappointed the first time I went into the one on International because it looked so much smaller. But I ended up buying more stuff than I had bought at the Vineland one! Merchandise is always changing, and it really just depends on what you're interested in and what they have the day you're there.
We usually go to the Vineland one because it's closer and easier for us to get to.
