Shopping Only At The Resorts

We are going to WDW for the first time since 2012 and I want to visit the resorts to visit their gift shops (I prefer resort gift shops over the parks or DS). Is this allowed now? I’ve been hearing you have to have a reservation to enter if you aren’t staying there. Is this true? Any insight will be helpful.

It’s never a problem if you arrive by Disney transportation.

We have a rental car (we are staying with some relatives this trip). Can we park and go inside, or do you have to have a dining reservation to park?

That’s hit or miss. Definitely not a given.

There is the option of parking at Disney Springs (free) and taking a bus from there to the WDW resort you want to visit. A bit of a long journey just to shop, but it's an option.

Can also park by TTC and take the monorail over. Have fun!
