Shopping in the theme park

When we went to Disney in 90 for our Honeymoon we stayed at the Carribean. Everything we bought at the parks was delivered to our room the next day. We were not concierge either. Is this still possible to do or do you have to be concierge?

At Christmas, they did not deliver to the room but to the hotel gift shop. We had a bit of a mix-up with another guest with the same last name who picked up the ornament I'd had personalized. Took another day but at that point, they DID deliver it to the room when they tracked it down.

All Disney resort guests can do this, and not just the theme parks shops; the shops at DTD and in the resorts will ship to your resort for free too. The only exception is you cannot do it on the day before your last night there, since the packages do not arrive until the following day.

You can still have packages delivered to your resort. I do believe that you have to pick them up at the resort gift shop now, due to 9/11 and security issues.

They no longer deliver directly to the rooms. Your purchases will be sent to the gift shop at your resort where you can pick them up upon presentation of a photo ID.

If you do stay concierge, they will deliver your package to your room
