Shopping in/near Anaheim

We haven't allocated much shopping time into our trip, but I was hoping someone might know of somewhere to shop in or near Anaheim. Top of the list is Lego, followed by more Lego, then more Lego and then sporting shoes/clothes/equipment and some general clothes. I'd ideally like somewhere we could get to by public transport.

Any suggestions?

There is a great Lego store at Downtown Disney.
We have always had a car, but The Block at Orange is close, and I am guessing you could get there by public transport

The best shopping centre in the area is South Coast Plaza. There is a shuttle from the Disneyland Resort area, that isn't too expensive for a return ticket. Outside of South Coast Plaza are some outlet type stores like Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less. There are discount coupons available and remember whenever you go to Macy's in the US, make sure you pick up the international visitors card which will give you 10% off everything in the store (even sale items) except cosmetics and perfumes

For lego, there is a big Toy's R Us, which is apparently on a public bus route that is outside DL on Harbour Blvd that goes right past, there is info on this bus on the Disneyland board, if you do a search on that board (or ask the question, one of them will be able to tell you). We have always taken a taxi there, but next trip plan to try the bus.

There is a lego store at Downtown Disney too, it has a good range.

for south coast plaza too! Good prices on surf brands ,nikes and antler luggage at sears ( best I can work out similar to big w)

Another vote for SoCo Plaza.
However, there is a Westfield Mall at Main Place not very far from DLR. It is an alternative but I don't know how to get there by public transport as I've always driven there instead.

I don't remember a taco bell But you never know. There may be one outside the centre if there isn't one inside

We always go to Rainforest Cafe, it's my bribe when I've been dragging DS around the shops all morning and want to continued all afternoon

Just looked, they have Wahoo's Fish Taco (whatever that is )

South Coast Plaza looks great and I have added it to our list of things to do.

We are definitely going have to go back because we are not going to get to do all the things we want while there

How does desert hills compare to citadel? I have not been shopping in the Us apart from Hawaii, but from being in DIS I have a list to check out,

The Grove, Citadel outlets, South Coast Plaza, the block at Orange and the Disney Character Warehouse.....do I need to add Desert Hills to that too?

I also have a Las Vegas list too!
