So, my Dad lost his favorite jacket a few years ago and is still on the look out for it and mentions it periodically. He bought it it decades ago(around 40 years) at the Kennedy Space Center. It was that silver NASA windbreaker. He said it was the lightest and warmest jacket EVER. I think they used "NASA" technology, blah, blah blah. Lol.
They no longer sell it anywhere. Even at the KSC. They closest thing I can find online is that it is similar to those silver thin blankets you keep in cars for emergencies.
Aerogel is another thing that pops up when researching. Oris? But I can't find what he wants. He doesn't want a super warm heavy jacket to go skiing, etc. He wants a super light as air jacket that is warm, like the one he lost!
Any advice on where to look?
TIA
