Is there any way to shop for Disney Merchandise prior to getting to Disney. I am looking for things like the autograph books (the disney ones), and a few little trinkets for the kids for their arrival night. I checked on line and didn't see anything.

If you will be travelling down I-75 there is a Disney rest area like thing in Ocala, Fl. When we went to Disney in 2000 we stopped there and I remember they had lots of disney trinkets and I think they had the autograph books too.

I just noticed you will be coming from NY so I guess you'll go down I-95. Well therer are two Character Warehouses in Orlando at the Belz factory outlet malls I think they are on International Drive.

We are flying in. We have 3 kids in our group (2 have never been to Disney). I thought it would be cute to put together little gift bags for all them. I wanted to get the stuff for their first night.

The Disney Stores? Here in Jersey we have one in just about every mall. I've already picked up t-shirts (for $7.99!!!), little stuffed animals, those washcloth things and some candy.
Just a thought!!!!!!

You may pay a premium on ebay, but also may get a bargain. WDW merchandising (unsure of the number) allows you to order most things over the phone at the same price you can get it in the parks. If you have something specific in mind, you can just call (do a search for the number, it is also on Deb wills' site) and desxcribe and they will give you a price. You will pay for shipping through UPS. Maybe you could get a Pal Mickey, or fanny packs and some beanies. There are so many great things avalable, but no online catalog. Have fun!

If you are flying into MCO, there is a store in one of the Terminals called Earport. It is run by the WDW resorts and they sell some of the same merchandise as in the parks. The last time I was there, I saw autograph books, pens, t-shirts, pins, etc. Not the biggest selection, but great for the last minute souvenirs (sp?)

There is Gifts Of A LIfetime that will shop for you and send the things to your home. I used them a couple of times and they are great. I got the little name tags for everyone in our group, pressed penny books and autograph books. They are the same price as in the parks plus shipping.:)

While Gifts of a Lifetime provides a great service, please note that they do charge a surcharge over the prices of WDW in addition to shipping. I just checked out there website and noticed that they charged more than I paid at WDW for the same items.

Also, you can call WDW merchandising at 407-363-6200 and they can send you any products that they sell at any of the WDW parks and resorts at the WDW prices plus shipping.

I just received in the mail today three items that I bought on Ebay for my daughter for our trip in October. I bought a Lilo and Stitch Lightchaser for $3.21, a purple Princess nightgown for $3.99, and a Princess pocketbook with crown handle and feathers that has a nail set and jewelry inside for $3.99. Shipping on these items was $7.50 ( a little high, I think, but with these item prices I can't complain!). Deals are definitely to be found. For our summer trip in June, I bought light chasers at Walmart for $5.00, and they were great-she didn't mind at all that they weren't Disney. I packed them in my bag and brought them out as were were waiting for the evening parade. Also bought small colored light up plastic fans that go around the neck for $3.99 at Goody's. I also bought small stuffed animals at Big Lots for $4.99 each-Pooh, Mickey, Minnie, Gus, the other mouse, and Pinnochio. Just keep your eyes open!!
