Shopping - fishing equipment

OK I plan to do a bit of shopping while in Orlando but the other half hates it so to keep him happy, can you tell me if and where there are any fishing shops and also any gadgety type shops that would keep a 30 something big kid happy!!!!

on i drive there is a huge outdoor world outlet that you'll get all kinds of fishing gear and the florida mall there is some good shops with gadgety type things cant quite remember the name but i'm sure it'll keep him out your hair for a while while you go off in your glory doing what us girls do best shop!!!!

Yes, this is the Bass Pro shop and it has to be seen to be believed - he'll love it. In fact, be prepared to lose him forever!

The Mall at Millenia also has a couple of shops which dh disappears to when he's had one too many Banana Republics or Victoria's Secrets! At one end, just before the entrance to Bloomingdale's, there's a little store called Futuretronics which sells smaller gadgets (digital cameras, laptops, MP3 players, etc) all laid out in glass cabinets for easy browsing. At the other end (near Macy's) is BestBrands which sells state of the art TVs, etc., and has a home cinema set-up at the back.

If you're shopping in WalMarts, check out their huge fishing section - DH has always bought back supplies for his bestfriend and this year decided he himself was going to become a fisherman (just the one outing so far ) and stocked up on a brilliant rod and box load of goodies for great prices - bless, he's happy

I go to WalMart every year with a list from my Dad with all the fishing bits & pieces he wants me to get for him. I usually manage to get everything there and a lot cheaper than in this country. last year I bought him specific Penn reel that he wanted and it was £55 cheaper in WalMart than in Scotland.
