Well we only have 4 more sleeps to go until our Californian Adventure  and my mind had turned to what "bargain shopping" I can do ... so please, all you experienced shoppers please give me your top tips! I was wondering about DS games, make up, camera's, clothes etc ... what should I look for and what should I give a miss. Thanks for any advice. :goodvibes

I thought I remembered a previous thread. I've bumped it up...might help...and I'm sure others will post. :thumbsup2

Best outlet mall ever is Las Americas in San Diego, it's right on the border of Mexico. So it's a little out of the way if you are in LA or Anaheim but if you will be in San Diego at all I would definately recommend a trip there!!!

I stocked up on make-up at good old Wal-Mart!

I wasn't planning to really buy anything there and just wanted to see one in real life, but the make-up was incredibly cheap, less than 50% what I pay here, so I couldn't resist. They won't have the more expensive brands (e.g. MAC) as it's just a department store but if you're after everyday type stuff it's great (e.g. Max Factor, Revlon, Covergirl)

I don't have any other tips for CA unfortunately as I did most of the rest of my shopping elsewhere since our trip started there and I didn't want to load up my luggage too early on. I came home 25kg heavier and had to buy an extra suitcase so that might be something to think about too!
