So, its going to be a cheap trip for me as everything that I had on my list to buy IS GONE! Gus Gus Shoulder plush - GONE. Magic Key sweatshirts - GONE. Gingerbread ear plushies-GONE. One saleslady just chuckled and said, " you should have come in October".

It's not crushing for me cuz I have plenty of Disney swag but I feel for people who come at Christmas week and are gonna be stuck with the tackiest tees and whatever happens to be left. Sad. I do think Disney merchandising has some serious issues.
Glad I ordered the stuff I really wanted from Disney Store online.

I really wish all retail establishments, not just Disney, would sell their seasonal merchandise during the season when it’s appropriate. I am really tired of buying Halloween in July and Christmas in September. It’s ridiculous to go into stores in early December and see the crumbs of the holiday in a clearance aisle while the Valentine displays are going up. Some unfortunate person is going to end up with heart shaped boxes of chocolate in their Christmas stockings! Let me buy Halloween in September/October and Christmas in November/December please, and no clearance until after the holiday.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Especially when you go in November/December and can only find merch for 2026. If I am going at Christmas, I should be able to find Christmas items for THAT year.

HUGE YES to all of this. A year or two ago, I had coupons at CVS that were about to expire, so I decided to do buy online and pick up in store for Halloween candy. This was in the middle of October. I opened the brown paper shopping bag at check out to make sure everything was what it should be. It's a good thing I did, because even though I requested the Halloween/Autumnal wrapped kisses, they gave me kisses that looked like Santa hats. In October! I explained the issue and the cashier was super nice and let me do an exchange. I really shouldn't have had to do that kind of exchange.

Plus, I have a Jiminy already...came from Shanghai or Hong Kong.
I thought maybe it was Paris but thats where my Spider Bot came from...

So here's something else that's weird...Disney Store online is selling every Starbucks container at a discount....YET THERE WERE NONE IN THE STORES AT THE PARK! People all around me making comments about "where are the Christmas ones?". All that was there were the pinkish ones and "You are here" mugs and ornaments. Crazy way to sell your products....

Yeah it’s ridiculous. Disney needs to improve on their supply for holiday stuff. Maybe they should drop some stuff IN the season too… to make it worth waiting for…
