July 1996

3. When was the last time you went to Disney World?::

April 2010

4. When is the next time you will be in Disney World?::

GETTING THERE

5. How do you usually get to to Disney World?::

Airline. I’ve only driven there once, and that was with band and it was on a greyhound bus. I hated driving! I love flying, and it’s so much quicker!

6. What do you do to pass the time while getting there?::

Normally I get on the plane, get settled in, and listen to my ipod! I don’t like reading on airplanes b/c it makes me nauseous! I always make sure to look at the sky mall catalog when i’m flying! I also enjoy getting pop and a snack!

7. Do you have any particularly memorable or interesting experiences you can recall happening on your journey to Disney World?::

Mmm....YES! When I got on the plane when I went in 2004, me and my family were put all the way in the back of the plane.......next to the bathroom :( It stunk soooo bad and they wouldn’t move us!

LODGING

8. What is your favorite place you have stayed at and why? It does not have to be on property::

I would say either the Grand Floridian or Animal Kingdom Lodge! Grand Floridian because of how upscale it is and it feels like you are in the victorian era! Animal Kingdom Lodge because of the awesome views! When I went in April of this year me and my mom walked around the polynesian and I am dying to stay there now! I probably won’t be able to afford it on my next trip, unless it’s a gift....Hmmm......Ideas :)

9. What is your least favorite place you have stayed at and why? (It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad place, it's just that maybe out of all your list of favorites, this would be your least favorite)::

Hm! I honestly liked all of the resort’s I’ve stayed at, but the least favorite would be Saratoga Springs. I loved the room, but hated the distance! I hated how far we were from the bus stop! But other than that, it was great!

MAGIC KINGDOM

10. What is your favorite attraction in the MK?

Splash Mountain HANDS DOWN!

11. What is your least favorite attraction in the MK?

Probably Hall Of President’s, but mainly because i’m so NOT into history!

12. Tell me a random memory you have involving the MK.

The first time I went on Splash Mountain! I was 4 ½ and my mom and grandpa went with me. I remember going down the 2nd biggest drop, and my butt came off of the seat! My mom and Grandpa just looked at each other and had that “Oh S**T” look! They had to hold me down when we went down the big drop at Chick-A-Pin Hill!

13. What is your favorite place to eat in the MK?

Oh man! Hard decision! I would say Cinderella’s Royal Table!

EPCOT

14. What is your favorite attraction in Epcot?

Either Test Track, Spaceship Earth, or Maelstrom!

15. What is your least favorite attraction in Epcot?

Probably Mission Space, I just don’t do good with spinning!

16. Tell me a random memory you have involving Epcot.

When I was there in April and me and my mom sat down and had lunch in the Japan pavilion, it was a great mother daughter moment!

17. What is your favorite place to eat in Epcot?

Hm! I would say Tokyo Dining for the food but Akershus for the character interaction!

18. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?

Ooh! Another hard choice! I would say Italy or Japan!

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

19. What is your favorite attraction in HS?

Toy Story Mania!!!!!

20. What is your least favorite attraction in HS?

Lights, Motors, Action....I’m not a car person!

21. Tell me a random memory you have involving HS.

This past April me and my mom decided that we wanted to go to rope drop, and I can still remember standing by the rope and walking right onto soarin! That was my first time riding!

22. What is your favorite place to eat in HS?

Mama Melrose’s and Sci-Fi

23. Do you watch the Citizens of Hollywood?

Not really. Me and my mom stopped and watched them for a little bit in April but I don’t really care for them.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

24. What is your favorite attraction in the AK?

Kilimanjaro Safari, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, and Expedition Everest!

25. What is your least favorite attraction in the AK?

Primevil Whirl and Triceratops Spin--I HATE spinning rides!

Eating Lunch on the balcony at Yak and Yeti and watching the parade go by! MAGIC!

27. What is your favorite place to eat in the AK?

Yak and Yeti and Tusker House!

OTHER DISNEY PLACES

28. Which water parks have you been to and which one was your favorite?

I’ve been to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. I went to Blizzard Beach once, when I was 5, so I don’t really remember it, but Typhoon Lagoon was pretty cool! I wish we would’ve gone to river country before it closed!

29. What was your favorite part about that water park?

Castaway Creek, Gang Plank Falls, and the Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon!

The only thing I remember at Blizzard Beach was the Ski Patrol Training Camp and I loved it!

30. Have you been to Disney Quest?

Nope, but I want to!

31. What was your favorite thing about Disney Quest?

Never been!

Well I only remember one, Horizons, and I loved it!

35. Have you ever been to Discovery Island when it was still running?

Probably, but I was really young so I don’t remember!

36. Have you ever been to River Country when it was still running?

No. I wish we would have!

37. What was your favorite part about the now shut down Pleasure Island?

No idea, since I haven’t been!

38. What is your favorite extinct show/parade?

Wow! Hard Question! I loved the Stars and Motor Cars parade at HS!

39. What is one thing you MUST do every time you go to Disney?

There’s a bunch, but the top one would be to take pictures at landmarks!

Ariel

44. Who is your favorite Disney male?

Mickey Mouse!!!!!!!

45. Who is your favorite Disney villain?

Malificent!

46. Your earliest Disney Park Memory::

I remember going in 1996 and wearing my minnie mouse dress and she saw me and hugged me, it was magical!

47. What other Disney Parks have you been to outside of Disney World?

None :( But I plan to, one day, go to Disneyland, Tokyo Disney, and Euro Disney!

48. Have you ever had to explain your love for Disney to someone who just didn't "get" it?

Many a time! People just don’t understand why I love it so much, but I do!

49. Blasphemous I know, but where is your favorite place to travel outside of Disney?

Honestly, no where I’ve traveled so far! I really would love to go someplace tropical though!

50. Which Disney character reminds you of you?

Cinderella!

Hey! I'm joining in. I would love to do a solo trip someday too, probably won't happen for a long time though! Can't wait for the next update! :)

Budget

So! I figured that I should probably post my budget, and the cost of the trip! Here it goes! Oh! And this is going to be based on the 2011 prices, just because I'm not sure if i'll be able to afford a 2011 trip.

Dates: Tentatively, May 11-21 2011 or 2012
Resort: Pop Century, most likely unless I can afford either the new animation resort or the Poly.
Ticket: 10 Day Park Hopper
Dining Plan: Deluxe, and I am only doing this because I want to be able to try tons of different restaurants!

So! As of now, the total is around $1,500. That's not bad....but....I would have to stay at All Star Sports....which I don't want to do......but it's alright, because I will save up to be able to stay at either pop century or all star movies, at the very least. I'm thinking if I split the trip between my parents and my grandparents and whatever money that I can make at my job, I should be able to cover it!

As for the actual room, i'll break it down by resort!

Pop Century: I'd like the 60's building, or the 90's or the 50's! If you guy's have any opinions, please let me know!

All Star Movies: Toy Story building or Fantasia building!

Poly: Raratonga, Tonga, Rapa Nui, or Tahiti!

There are other resort's i'd consider, but I'll stick with these for now! Thanks for reading!

Plans, Day 1! Monday, May 9, 2011

So! Again, these are all tentative, but this is what I would like my plans to look like!

-Flight in the morning! I just looked at Southwest's prices and they're AMAZING!!!!!! I can get a flight there for either $95 or $146, and i'm thinking of taking the $146 flight so I can get there earlier! So!
Flight at 8:35 AM, arrive at 12:15 PM!!!!!!!!!
-I will check in at my hotel, then head to get lunch!
-Lunch at either Wolfgang Puck or Portobello at 1:30
-Shopping at Downtown Disney
-Head to HS at around 5 pm
-Eat dinner at either Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's, or Sci-Fi Dine-in!
-Get to fantasmic at around 7:30-7:45
-Leave after fantasmic and head back to the hotel for a good night's sleep!

Plans Day 2 (March 10th, 2011) and Shopping Pictures!!!

I'm gonna start this post off with some shopping pics! This morning when I woke up I knew that I wanted to go to Target! I needed to buy a new toothbrush and some new hair-ties, so I decided that I would go! I had to go out anyways because I had to drop off some books that were due back at the library! I left and went first to Target! Here's the pics:
First off is some baby wipes. They were on sale for $1.97 a tub, so I bought two! I use sooo many wipes because I am sooo messy!
PC195221.jpg

PC195222.jpg

Next up is a Disney 2011 calendar! I saw this a while back and could never find it at the other target's I had gone to!
PC195223.jpg

PC195224.jpg

Next up is some undies. I didn't plan on buying underwear, but I always look in the sale sections in the clothing areas and stuff! So! This was a 3-pack for $2.50, pretty good!
PC195225.jpg

Next is my hair-ties! These are sooo cool! They feel like rubber and they don't pull at your hair! I :lovestruc them!
PC195226.jpg

Here's a better idea of the actual colors, since the flash changed the colors!
PC195227.jpg

My new toothbrush! Disney Princess, of course! I normally buy kid's toothbrushes because I have a small mouth and the big brushes make it really hard to get to the hard-to-reach spots!
PC195228.jpg

Close-up! This sold me, because Ariel is my favorite Princess!
PC195229.jpg

Lastly is my hair dye! I've been wanting to dye my hair and so I bought dark blonde!
PC195230.jpg

I'll be back in a bit with more pictures, but now onto the plans!!!!!!

Plans Day 2 (March 10th, 2011)

-Wake up at 7 AM
-Get ready and out the door by 7:45 AM
-Go down to the food court, buy my refillable mug, and fill up!
-Head to the bus stop!
-Bus to Magic Kingdom for Rope Drop
-After rope drop, head straight to Splash Mountain or, if going in 2012, fantasyland!
-Lunch at Crystal Palace
-Parade at 3 PM
-Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern
-Wishes at 9 PM

I really don't have solid plans, I figure i'll just go along and ride what rides I want and do whatever!

I'll be back in a little bit with more pictures and my plans for Day 3!

Picture Update!!!

So I have decided to do another update because i'm feeling in the sharing mood!!!! First off is my bow holder! I had one before that I bought from walmart for $2.50, but it was way too short! I was thinking of another way to make one, so I looked around and had some left over ribbon and I pinned it to my wall and it works great!
PC175215.jpg

PC175214.jpg

Next up is the Angel stuffed animal from the Disney Store! I saw it back in October at the Disney Store, but it was a mini one, and I wish I would have bought it! I ordered this on black friday because it was on sale for I think $7, and when she arrived, she was huge! I got a way better deal than I was supposed too!!!
PC175213.jpg

Next up is my 1st Christmas tree! It's my smaller one, and it's on my bed stand! I had barbie ornaments so that's what I mainly decorated my tree with!
PC175210.jpg

PC175209.jpg

This pen I bought from Target from the dollar spot! It's awesome!
PC175208.jpg

I got this snowglobe with my black friday purchase for $5! I was originally going to give it to my friend for Christmas but it didn't come in time so I kept it! I probably would've picked a different one if I knew that I was going to keep it, but I still like it!
PC175207.jpg

This was my last purchase from the Disney Store on Black Friday, and it's a Disney World 2010 photo album! I got it for $4 :) :)
PC175206.jpg

Next up is my new fish tank! I got it months ago but finally got around to cleaning it and re-stocking it!
PC175205.jpg

Next is my big tree, which I will be replacing for a regular one next year!
PC175199.jpg

Here's the presents underneath!
PC175198.jpg

And finally are the cloth wipes that I bought! I :lovestruc them, so i'm gonna buy more!!!!

Whoa a solo trip, you must be brave. I am scared to travel alone. I worry I might miss a flight or get lost in the air port, lol. popcorn::

You should totally get one of those big wooden letters that everyone puts up in their nursery, paint it cute to match, and attach your ribbon bow holder to the back of it. I have seen them for sale on etsy and they are adorable, but way too easy to make yourself to justify buying them :lovestruc

I am so totally brave!!! I'm really independent, and I've alway's wanted to travel on my own! Great idea! I might just have to do that! I'm thinking of buying a bow holder, here's the ones I really like!

This is my favorite style, but it's $70

Thank's for following along! Nobody is really reading mine :(

I'll follow yours I'm new here so I don't really know anyone yet. I wanted to ask earlier but I decided no to, are you a cloth diapering mom or just bought the cloth wipes for something else? The baby I watch on occasion is cloth diapered and has wipes just like those.

Oops sorry I didn't notice your age when I asked that, lol. I was just excited that I recognized the cloth wipes, lol. I have a few of them myself, I use them as kleenex because I have year round allergies and I just wash them with my laundry. Cool we are around the same age. :)

Update!!!!!

Hi everyone! I've been such a bad Disser!!!!!! I haven't updated in SUCH a long time! I had an amazing Christmas, and I am so lucky to have such good family members! I'll make another post later today with pictures, but for now I'll just have to talk. My Mom, Step-Dad, and Younger Brother came to visit us! They got here on Christmas day at around 5:30 pm and we ate Christmas dinner and then opened presents! It was great! The day after Christmas we went to Walmart and returned some stuff and bought some stuff and then came back home and relaxed! During that week we went to the Eisenhower museum, went bowling, went and saw Tron (Awesome!!!), and went to the orchid cave! It was a great week and we were sad when they had to leave on Sunday :guilty: On Sunday before we took everyone to the airport we went out to lunch at Cracker Barrel. My Grandpa brought up the subject of vacation this summer since we didn't go anywhere last year. We also talked about going on a cruise for Christmas next year, which sounds like it's going to happen! That will be a separate post, but anyways. As for the vacation, we are talking about possibly going to New York, California, and the Florida Keys. My Grandpa and I were talking yesterday morning and we are thinking of, when we go on the cruise for Christmas, leaving a week before and everyone would go to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure since we haven't been there since 2004, and my brother was too young to do any of the good rides, and we only had half a day at each park. Then I thought, if we are going to be right next to Disney World, why don't we go there too? No one else in my family wants to go, so I'm thinking, if I can save up enough money, I'll leave a week before Universal and go alone for a week! Sounds good, right :yay::woohoo: I'm still currently looking for a job.....I want to be a nanny, but my family doesn't think it's a good idea, but i'm not giving up hope! I'm just not sure where to start to look for one....I was thinking about going through an agency, so anyone who's been a nanny, please help me out! I've also been stalking Off To Neverland Travel because they are getting ready to put up their applications to be a Disney Travel Planner and I'm going to try to get a spot! Whew! That was a ton of typing! Here's some pictures from my April trip to keep you all entertained!!!!

I almost missed your post before I signed off. I like the way your PTR is set up, it catches my interest. Oh goodness, a cruise, that sounds like fun, I have never been on one but my older brother said it was pretty much non stop eating. I am not sure if that was just him though, lol.

I think you should be a Disney trip planner! You really seem to know your stuff in great detail and perhaps that job comes with some great employee discounts ;) Some of the food you listed sounds divine. My mouth watered when I read butterfinger cheesecake.:cloud9: I don't have any nannying advice. But joining a church is a great way to get some baby sitting jobs. I'm trying to get some baby sitting jobs in my area as well.
