Shopaholic Goes Disney.... A Pre-Trip Report (Updated 12/26)

Those baby Crocs are so cute!

Those Mickey crocs are the ones I'm planning on buying for my DD! Adorable!

My youngest has those mary jane crocs in dark purple and she loves them! They are really cute.

Mom and I both swore we would never buy Crocs. I think they are so adorable now and Belle LOVES them. We are eating our words.

Oh, I LOVE your new red shoes!!!

I've been looking for a cute pair of red flats! And those are ultra-cute!!

Belle looks lovely in her new Uggs!!

Payless, sister! Do they have those is Austraila? They also have a lovely gold pair and I'm kicking myself for not buying them. Payless always has the 'buy one, get one half off' thing going.

I sure hope we run into eachother in a few weeks!

Hi Soleil!!! Great updates, glad to see I didn't miss too much while we were at WDW!! Can't believe my trip is over, but so happy to live vicariously through you now. Love the new shoes....especially the red ones for you, very cute!! I'm thinking I need to get to Payless now, I've been looking for a pair of flats to wear for Christmas eve and day and those would be perfect in gold for me! Adorable!!

You're on countdown now, have you started packing? The paperwork for the trip sure has changed a lot for next year, compared to what I had just last week!

I’m 19 days out. I’m in the teens! Unbelievable!

Due to an abundance of Disney excitement, I plan on making an update everyday this week. (That’s a plan, not a promise. )

Speaking of plans – these are mine.

(Again, I remind myself. These are plans, not promises.) I’m trying very hard not to get too wrapped up in what I imagine every second of this trip to be. I’ve never planned this hard for a vacation and hope that I don’t end up making myself sick of every little detail.

I don’t want to give our EXACT plans, so I’m going to do a top 10 list for each day. My first day is a little boring, since it is arrival day. I’ll just make it a top 7 list.

Day 1:
RISE & SHINE! We are headed to Disney! ​

7. Meet Cinderella (Isn't she pretty?!?! )

6. Ride the Airport Monorail.

4. Watch the Electrical Water Pageant

3. Have a fancy drink. (Any ideas on the monorail loop?)

2. Meet the Step-Family (After a fancy drink, this should be loads of fun! )

1. Give a huge hug to my best friend. It’s been 3 years!

I will post the Day 2 Top 10 later today.

Loving the PTR! Can't wait for updates! And the 1st day plans are great! Not sure about monorail drinks, but when you're at Epcot, stop by the France drink kiosk and try a Grand Marnier or Grey Goose Slush...YUM! Expensive but worth every cent.

And yes, I've never seen Cindy look so...ummm...yeah, can't quite find the words...

The step Mom in that picture in the best. She was unreal with my DS and DD.I also saw her as cruella at MGM too.
I think I would make a good evil step Mom, or cruella at WDW.I can give some mean evil looks. That drink looks yummy.

Ooh, Cruella looks! When I was in elementary school, our counseler looked and sounded just like Cruella. She was even more scary than the principal!

I am going to be sobbing like a baby in OMD. It's almost cliche' to say it on here, but Walt has always been one of my hero's. He was such a brilliant man and his heart was like no other!

I will always love the COP!!! I'm with you on that. I love Walt's mind. I feel that some of the newer attractions just don't have that 'Walt magic'.

I completely agree with you. Though, I tell myself that he would have loved that the attractions "moved forward" and kept developing.
