Shopaholic Goes Disney.... A Pre-Trip Report (Updated 12/26)

G and I put the tree up tonight. It was alot of fun! This was our first year to do it together. Last year I put it up while he was at work and suprised him when he got home.

Its' poor bottom is bare. That's what happens when you have a curious toddler!

The special ornament. It was the first ornament I bought for the first Christmas tree I put up as an adult. I think it is so spunky!

It is Rusty's first christmas tree as we have not put up one the last few years (because we would not be home) but with the baby we have now put it up. So far Rusty has left it alone. I think he has become much calmer since Caleb's birth.

As I was reading this, I was imagining Rusty making mischief with the tree while you guys are away.

Belle is so obsessed with Lulu now and Lu is so scared of her. She thinks Lu is her baby and tries to put her in a stroller, baby bed, ect. It's really funny!

I love "G's" clothes! And even if he doesn't like to shop, at least he lets you pick (at least some of) his clothes!

Yes, he does let me pick sometimes. One day he sent me a wishlist for himself from Heritage 1981 / Forever 21. I was so excited that he had actually picked out cute stuff that I ordered the whole list.

So glad you got your magical mail. I like the booklet, just wish it was not so big. I had a hard time trying to fit it into my travel organizer.
I love your cowpeople shirt, it is really cute. I also plan out clothes for our trips. It can drive one crazy. Well at least me! I usually try to match everyone in the same color scheme. This trip we won’t match as much, since I don’t know what the weather is going to be like. We do have matching phillies shirts!

I am having a blast reading your PTR! I like to match by color, too.

Your mail looks delightful! It looks a lot different then what I received for my September trip. They must have changed the designs and such for the new year and the new promotion!

I like the new design well enough, but I wish we were going during YOAMD.

First of all I have to say I love the matching shirts for you two...so cute!!!! Secondly, Love the magic mail. I got some magic mail but it didn't look anything like that...am I supposed to get my arcade card before I arrive???? Hmmmm....I wonder if I'm due for more magic mail then...I figured I just got everything when I arrived...shows you how much I know!

And Thirdly...I totally relate to your PTRitis....Man I want to be writing my trip report...the good news is I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to be updating today and tomorrow...going to give my editor a bit of a break and just pray I don't have too many grammatical errors LOL!!!

Yes, your arcade card will come before you arrive. I think the mail will get to you about 4 weeks out. Don't fret!

Hi Soleil! I found your trip report this past weekend and just had a chance to get caught up. I just have to say that I'm so glad I'm not the only one who plans my vacation wardrobe in advance For last summer's trip I took my little planning notebook with all our confirmation dates and info, and I actually sat down and wrote out everything I would wear on each day, right down to the jewelry. Everyone though I was insane but hey, at least I'm not the only one!

Your report's so much fun! You and G make such a cute couple, and Belle's absolutely adorable! After all the stress and worrying of the past year, you definitely deserve this trip. I can't wait to read along!

Okay, I have a question.. We're driving to Jackson and flying to MCO on Southwest, do we have to retrieve our bags ourselves at MCO and bring them to ME or can we state we want ME to get them for us? My mom seems to think you have to be flying Delta or AA for them to do that. ?? so what's the deal Soleil I know you know!

I've had all my mail sent to my parents' house, because that's where I'll be right before we leave on our trip.

I keep showing Logan Disney shirts and he won't agree to any of them. I have been trying to get him some more clothes though... it's a slow process, but he's accumulating a larger wardrobe.
I haven't gotten as far as planning every outfit for myself yet. I figure when I get home for Christmas, I'll have plenty of time and my Mom and sisters can help me.

Well I have hopes for the future then, because I'm sure I can give Logan at least one adorable child with an affinity to the Mouse!
I can just imagine Logan being a complete marshmallow in regards to all our children, especially any little girl.

How did I become a Shopaholic?

Saturday my mom and I went Christmas shopping.

Mom decided that she wanted to check out a pair of Tom's shoes. (Evie has converted our family into Tom-lovers.) Correct me if I am wrong, but with every pair of Tom's you buy a pair of shoes is donated to a child in Africa.

Then we decided that Belle was probably due for her first pair of Ugg's.

(I was trying to get a cute picture of her in her new shoes. She thinks she is BIG TIME in her Uggs!!!! It's hilarious!)

While I picked out the Uggs, Belle picked out a pair of shoes on her own.

Baby Mickey Crocs! Has she been Dissing?

She had to have the GoGo shoes. We couldn't convince her otherwise. So, of course, Nana bought them.

As we were leaving, mom felt a bit sorry for shoe-less me. She remembered a cute pair she had seen earlier and wheeled me down to Payless.
