Shopaholic Goes Disney.... A Pre-Trip Report (Updated 12/26)

I actually had a dream about getting pregnant right away last night! But we've talked about it, and if we start a family earlier than planned, it'll be ok b/c it'll obviously be God's plan...and I'm sure we'll be super excited after the shock wears off But at the same time, we're super excited about selfish time!
jenjolt, have yall gotten to have tons of fun experiences? What are your best/favorites? We're wanting to have a list of fun stuff we want to do before we start a fam!

Basically, we're waiting until I get my degree, which will be in May. After that it's debatable. I would like to wait until after the Military insurance kicks in, but we'll have some kind of insurance at least beforehand.

After 800 interruptions, I am finally all caught up on your PTR. I had to skip most of the chit chat back and forth though.

We bought that same man bag for my DH for this past trip and it was great. He really likes it! So hopefully your G will as well.

For some reason off hand I can't remember your trip dates...gotta go back and look-we are going back in January now, maybe our days will cross?

My Magical Mail has still not arrived! Is this because I'm not using Magical Express? Should I at least get something confirming our trip? I'm at a loss.

As I sit here, eating a terribly delicious BBQ sandwhich for lunch, I am feeling the need to make an update on my trip report. And because I'm eating a southern girl lunch I havea sudden ugre to use the 'y' word. Ready.... here it comes:

Ya'll.... I've got terrbile Trip-Reportitis!!!! I'm so over this PTRing and I'm ready for the good stuff! I'm so thankful for my new friend brookelizabeth who not only is the Update Queen, but has a precious child (sweet Henry)who around the same age as Belle. She also stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, which is where I will be staying. I am living vicariously through her as I anxiously await for January to arrive. Thanks Brooke!

Okay, so on with the show.....

Today it's 'G's turn in the spotlight. Now close your eyes and imagine him struting down the cat-walk, striking sassy poses as I reveal a bit of his fabulous Disney wardrobe.

(Disclaimer: 'G' is not a diva or a divo, as some might say. He is very shy and very un-metro, so I've had to introduce him to the world of fashion. He wouldn't be caught dead on a catwalk in real life.)

Suprise, I got you Disney Shirts for Christmas!

Mickey was $4.99 and Donald was $6.99. I love a good deal! 'G' loves Donald and I think it would be fun to wear to Chef Mickey's. Since his Princess Belle loves 'GoGo' so much, I'm sure he will be more than happy to sport the Mickey shirt.

We are normally not matchy-matchy people, but I loved both shirts and couldn't resist.

That's about it for him. He's Mr. Anti-Shopahlic and like most normal people, he doesn't plan five months in advance what he will wear on a vacation.

I mean really... what kind of wierdo would plan their vacation wardrobe in advance!

I was seriously thinking about packing this weekend. Then I realized that I need half of the things I would be packing.

I'm going to do a fashion show for my mom with all of my outfits. She's got a good eye and will tell me if anything looks silly.

Awww...your fashion show sounds fun!! I always do that w/ my mom when we get back from a big shopping day.

lol...and I left most of my Florida things at home so I wouldn't have to lug them on the airplane. But now I miss looking at them! They reminded me of the trip!

Okay, I have a question.. We're driving to Jackson and flying to MCO on Southwest, do we have to retrieve our bags ourselves at MCO and bring them to ME or can we state we want ME to get them for us? My mom seems to think you have to be flying Delta or AA for them to do that. ?? so what's the deal Soleil I know you know!

Those aren't the ME tags - sorry to be the bearer of bad news. However, the good news is you'll be getting another package with the ME tags! They're stickee tags that you'll put on your luggage, similar to what the airline would put on. What you recieved are just luggage tags.

So glad you got your magical mail. I like the booklet, just wish it was not so big. I had a hard time trying to fit it into my travel organizer.
I love your cowpeople shirt, it is really cute. I also plan out clothes for our trips. It can drive one crazy. Well at least me! I usually try to match everyone in the same color scheme. This trip we won’t match as much, since I don’t know what the weather is going to be like. We do have matching phillies shirts!

First of all I have to say I love the matching shirts for you two...so cute!!!! Secondly, Love the magic mail. I got some magic mail but it didn't look anything like that...am I supposed to get my arcade card before I arrive???? Hmmmm....I wonder if I'm due for more magic mail then...I figured I just got everything when I arrived...shows you how much I know!

And Thirdly...I totally relate to your PTRitis....Man I want to be writing my trip report...the good news is I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to be updating today and tomorrow...going to give my editor a bit of a break and just pray I don't have too many grammatical errors LOL!!!

G and I put the tree up tonight. It was alot of fun! This was our first year to do it together. Last year I put it up while he was at work and suprised him when he got home.

Its' poor bottom is bare. That's what happens when you have a curious toddler!

The special ornament. It was the first ornament I bought for the first Christmas tree I put up as an adult. I think it is so spunky!
