I managed to keep on track at Sobeys today and used the StB coupon for DD’s account. No idea how I did it because I had business matters swirling through the brain.

we needed some replacement parts for our roomba, so i figured i might as well round things up to 100$ and cross airmilesshops off my wife’s card. i added two cute towels for the toddler. 40$ i didn’t *need* to spend, but what the heck, right?

today the towels arrived, and so did an email saying the vacuum parts are out of stock. so turns out i spent less than 100$ on something i really didn’t need!

Anyone get a spending update from bmo on your mc purchases yet? I got one that says as of Dec7 I have spent $378, which is BS as according to my records I have spent $758! However, I did a purchase online at staples on Dec2 for $79.99 and I don’t even see it on my mc?!

Should I be concerned about this?

Mine looks about right, $426. Now if I count ALL of my shopping and not just the ones that count from AM's shops, I have spent a gizzilion dollars on MC.
The staples doesn't sound right, could you have just missed seeing it?

My email was also off. Take a look at the date on the email. Add up all your purchases at partners up to a day or two before that date (I looked at my M/C online). When I did that my amount was correct. I of course had purchased a lot more than that since so I knew I was good overall.

BMO has to send the info to Airmiles who then has to put it into an email and send those out. There will always be a time lag. Keep a record of your Partner spending and it wil be ok.

I am doing a separate offer that gets me 300 miles if I do the following by Dec16:

spend $300 at sobeys (did that)
Two fill ups at shell (done)
Spend $700 at partners on mc (which is why i am concerned timing wise)

I did buy a $200 sobeys gift card and included that in my $700 totals. I have always done that for these bmo offers and it works.

Ok I went back through my charges again and the $387.77 as of Dec 7 is actually as of Dec 2, so they don’t have my larger purchases in there yet.

And I still don’t see staples. Maybe it is just really slow to post?

Staples is one of the most unreliable partners when it comes to posting. They can be great when they get it right but when things go wrong... In the summer I had a Staples purchase for Mega Miles. It never showed in my AM account. I was able to get AM to give me the necessary AM after the fact though. Keep your receipts and things will work out.

I had my umbilical hernia repair surgery yesterday, so I am essentially totally out of commission for at least a week. This is why I am concerned about my totals lol

Thank you @AngelDisney. So far it hasn’t been too bad, but I this weekend will be the toughest part. No narcs, just extra strength Tylenol and ibuprofens.
I had a breast reduction back in 2018, so this is MUCH easier than that!!

those emails from BMO always, every single time, cause heart palpitations but not as bad as when airmiles sends out the one that says keep going you've used "insert the number of offers they say you've completed" offers and you KNOW you've done more. Just ignore them!!! Keep your own records and follow THOSE. I have no idea where they pull the info from but it's never been accurate for us, not once.

my email is way off too. when the gift cards were on special at Sobeys last week, i got a few. they’re not in the email. so bizarre! but it’s clearly listed on my credit card statement, so i’m sure it’ll be just fine

I just logged into my Staples account to see what was going on. Turns out it still says "processing", which is why I likely haven't been charged for it yet. BUT I just received the item the other day LOL It says my order date of December 2, so at least when it does post, it should fall within the timeline I need.

It was a new laptop backpack for work, so I was getting refunded for it anyways.

Well, I figured since it will be a super slow Christmas this year and sports will be shutdown until mid January, this would be the best time to get it done.

I have everything wrapped and ready to go for the most part, so I feel organized at least.
