Readers Digest version, teens on a Spring Break trip from South Florida. One was shot in leg, no one killed. Fights all day, when a cop tried to break one up, he was jumped by "dozens" of the punks.

I imagine Aquatica was doing a number on the park already, but this might be the beginning of the end.

Unbelievable..........I didn't notice in the article, but was the park closed to just these high school groups ? If not, I would have hated to be there with my family and encountered all the fights that went on during the day and then later that shooting ! Really awful. Were there chaperones ? I hope they press charges against the kids that attacked the police officer too.

Wow! 1600 teenagers is a lot of kids in one spot. I wonder how many adults were with them. I have to take a field trip with 30 high school juniors, and that makes me nervous enough. There is no way I would chaperone a trip with that many kids.

What is this world coming to? That trip should have been chaperoned. My goodness, 1600 students unsupervised that's trouble waiting to happen.
