Our first few trips, we ignored the shooting arcade at Frontierland---figuring it was something you could find at any old amusement park.
Last time, we had some time to kill and before you know it, all 5 of us were hooked....even our 6 year old! Can't wait to do it again next week.
Anyone out there feel the same way?

Not only do I enjoy them, you *can't* find them at any old amusement park these days. My home park had two of them in the 2002 season: one was removed in 2003, the other removed last year. :(

I have a 10-yo DS. All WDW trips include a substantial time and coin investment in the Shooting Arcade!

it was closed the last time we were there.... (end of Sept, beginning of October)

I love it too. I take plenty of change to make sure I can play. YOu can't find any that good anymore. THe next best ones I have seen are at some of the Bass Pro Shops. it is a Hillbilly/Moonshiner type theme.

We didn't do it last time but will this time. How much does it cost to play?

my son takes what feels like 10 pounds of change with him on vacations. between pressed pennies/quarters and the shooting gallery, he plows thru most all of it.

He would stay there for hours if we let him. (and last time we did. nice break, it was raining, my god daughter needed fed/cat nap.....Pat just kept on shooting.)

When I was between 10 and 14 years old, the Shootin' Gallery got all of my B tickets. I had no interest in Dumbo, the Tree House or Mad Tea Party at that time.

I hadn't taken a shot at the gallery in about 20 years until one e-ride night last year. We rode the last ride of the night on Splash Mountain and then very slowly wandered back through a deserted Frontierland. The Shootin' Gallery caught the attention of my then 5 year old daughter. We spent quite a bit of time shooting. Finally, we were the last people out of the Magic Kingdom that night.

I love the shooting gallery. Actually they had a second one like this in the the Fun Center at the Contemporary.
Speaking of that shooting gallery, does anyone have pictures of this shooting gallery (I'm speaking of the one that was once in the Contemporary)

thanks,

Does anyone know how much it costs to play?

I LOVE shooting arcades. I make time for the one in Frontierland every trip. I believe it 50 cents. I suppose it could be 25, but since it's Disney I'm guessing 50 :p
