Shoot :( UPDATED page 7

Maybe the high blood presure will drop a bit now that you aren't so stressed about your other meds and being resistant. Nothing like stress to get your blood boiling!

I hope you'll do okay!

Aww, man, Jenny. I missed your first post, too. I hope things are going better soon. I'm so sorry you have to go through all this. You are in my thoughts. :grouphug:

Jenny, you are in my thoughts and prayers! :grouphug:

I missed your original post Jenny! Sorry.

I'm so sorry the meds are making you sick. That sucks!

Sending lots of good wishes for you and guidance for your physicians. :grouphug:

Thanks for the update, Jenny. I will pray for you that things get better. Hang in there!

I was wondering about the BP and the stress level of that appointment, too. I'm sure you've been worried over it for days. Your BP was bound to be higher than normal. Can they recheck it on a more normal day??

I'm always tense when I go to the doctor, but that even hgher than it was at the doctors before they doubled the atenolol. She having me take it at home for a while.
To the poster who asks if ever feel like just throwng my hands up....yes.It's happened a few times over the course of 15 years, but it's really very rare for me to feel like that...One time ,around 6 years ago,I just stopped my meds against the doctors advice..I was on more than 40 a day and there were times when I would get sick just trying to get them all down..I just couldn't do it anymore. I had to have a break. I think at that point ,forn my own mental health,I just needed a break

You'll continue to be in my thoughts, Jenny.

You have to get better before September. Somebody has to keep those crazy ladies in line on our trip. :teeth:

The bright side is,I'm not sick..I had some sort of bug about 1o days ago..It's gone and I roade my bike for miles and miles over the weekend

I'm sorry, Jenny. I will pray that these new meds work well, and your echo and EKG are clear.

Do you tell your kids what's going on? When DH's liver flares up and we go to the hospital more often, we always get into problems with oldest DS.......either anger/fighting or depression/crying. We had him in therapy for a while, which he enjoyed, and it seemed to help for a while, but his therapist moved.

I'll pray for your kids too.

Ih yeah.. They know what's going on..They also know that I'm looking and feeling just fine. They saw me in heart failure and they were there when I had the mini strokes,so this is no big deal for them

I knew from your other posts they knew the big picture, but I wondered if you had told them these results. I have posted on other threads where I was impressed by some of your thoughts, and I guess I just wondered if you share everything with them, or pick and choose.

We are wondering if we should not always let DS know what is happening, but the therapist had said they will feel what is happening and their imagination is worse than the facts, usually.

Sorry if my question was intrusive.

NO worries. I don't mind..I was a bit more careful of what I told them when they were younger, but now that they are 11 to 14, they really know the deal. Edited to add,I don't know that the 11 YO really gets it.... I had to explain drug resistance to a couple of them today.
