Shoes

Okay I have done the Crocs and never again. I got blisters. Back to the Birkenstocks I went. But now I wear Adidas the slip on kind. They have a cushioned insole. Now I walk everyday because, I am building up for Disneyland in September. Including a band review and my feet feel wonderful.

Has any tried the Dr Schols gel inserts?

I mix it up between my retired running shoes (Asics), Crocs (yes, with socks! I'd never do it outside Disney), mushy Nike flip flops, and a pair of Clark's sandals.

I can't wear Keen's. They fit me so poorly. I have a pair of Newports buried in my closet and the last two pairs I tried went back to the store.

I have my eye on a pair of Eccos that I might before we leave.

I actually wear flip flops every time. (We average about 3 times per year, plus I wore them to WDW last year.) I love Reef flip flops! They have great arch support, which I need. Plus, they are way cute. I bring a few pair with me, usually a platform and flat, and swtich off during the week, depending on what I am wearing, and I have never had a problem.

You mean this look? :rotfl: (yes that's me in the "celery" mary janes and ankle socks with a DRESS on at Disneyland)

And you are definitely rocking that look! Loved the TR for that, too.

I do think DL is a place you can/should focus on comfort vs. style. I've seen people in 3 or 4 inch heels hobbling through NOS and thought: 1. Why? 2. Ouch! Let's save the pumps with bows for Minnie...

No kidding! The funniest sights I have ever seen at Disneyland is women in stiletto heels.

last year I saw a girl barely able to walk in her heels at DTD, she hobbled so badly.
The next day in DL there she was again in the same high heels!

I guess she thought it was better to look good then to feel good, but she did not look good either:rotfl2:

Vanity is terrible. And boy am I glad I have never been that vain.

I love my aerosole sandals. :) I wear good tennis shoes sometimes if it is cold.

Oh ya, I've seen "those girls" too. LOL I laugh every time....but the best is my DBF laughs at them too, he says "she thinks she looks good but she can hardly walk, what's hot about that?" LOL

And yes, I have Dr Scholls gels in my shoes, I am gelling! LOL They help but my feet still hurt at the end of the day. DBF has Plantar Facitis (sp) so his feet really hurt...but no way would he ever wear Crocs or anything similar, he hates those things. I do too, but the ones posted above are cute!
