Do you leave sandals/watershoes on in the waterparks, even on the slides? Been to waterparks before where they make you take them off on the slides, so just wondering.
Most of the slides, etc, you can wear your watershoes. Some of the drop slides you can't. You can't even hold them going down, so find out ahead of time which ones you can't have shoes. There is a lot of walking to be done in the waterparks. Shoes are a great idea.
I was at Typhoon Lagoon a couple of weeks ago and I really wish I had some water shoes with me. The walkway towards the stairs for Crushin' Gusher was very slippery in places and almost caused myelf and a couple of other "Shoeless Joes" to slip and fall.
If they don't allow you to wear your water shoes on the slides do they have a place to put them at the slide location do you would have them to walk to the next ride?
you can also get a water shoe at the shoe carnival, it's like a real tennis shoe but mesh on the sides and really light weight, nice sole and support. I have a pair to walk in the pool at my y.
