Shoes in carry-on, prolly silly ?

i've seen tsa swab shoes that you take off

Right. To test to see if you've been around explosives.

Which means they SHOULD be testing ALL the shoes in your carry-on, if you have them, because you could have made the explosives wearing the shoes in your carry-on, but then worn the clean brand new worn-out-of-the-store after buying them on the way to the airport (not taking your car b/c it would have residue in it) through the airport.

It's illogical. Makes no sense. They should test all shoes or just drop the shoe thing.

But they don't test all shoes.

Next time I fly I'm going to take my open-top DVC bag and use that as my carryon, and drop my shoes in the bag, just to see... Well, if I remember to do it. :upsidedow

What does "prolly" mean? Is that one of those abbreviated versions of the word probably? Texting today has me studying everything I read. Its like another language I have to learn.

It's not from texting. It's more of a slang term, a lazy silly way of saying probably. I've heard it in speech LONG before texting came into being.
