Shoes for Dapper Day?

Ok, I need some help here! I'm going with a friend for Dapper Day and will be wearing a cute dress but what to do about shoes? Comfort is important to me, so I'm willing to sacrifice some "cute" for comfort. Usually I wear sandals by Earth Shoes, or tennis shoes at night, but neither of those will mesh with a dress. (Dapper Day is Nov 6 so if it's raining I'll abandon cute shoes and rock my rainbow heart rain boots with my dress- that would be a sight lol!) Rain aside, any suggestions on where to look for cute, comfortable sandals/footwear or what brands to look for?

Check Ecco and Clarks. I know my wife has a number of Clarks shoes that are "cute" and she says are extremely comfortable to walk in. I have quite a few pairs of Eccos that are also very comfortable for walking, but I've never looked at the womens selections.

And for both, if you know your size, Amazon often has them well below list price (though they're also both having end of season sales at the moment).

Ditto Clarks, they have some very cute ones. I love Abeos, but they are expensive.

I use Skechers. They have some cute mary jane-like shoes with tennis shoe bottoms. They aren't quite as comfortable as a tennis shoe, but they're a lot better than heels or regular ballet flats. They do require "breaking in" and if they slip at all, you'll want to wear blister guards where they rub.

Check Amazon for Ollio shoes. They have some cute, inexpensive shoes (e.g. saddle shoes, wingtips, flats, etc.) that work well for the parks. They break in quickly and have enough room for a gel insole or orthotic. Bass saddle shoes are always cute and come in a variety of colors. Also, Crocs has some ballet flats that work, especially if you like water rides. I know friends who get cute tennis shoes (Keds style) at Payless. The white shoes can be painted with fabric paint and the polka dot shoes are cute as is.
