What kind of shoes does your DD wear at the parks with her princess costume? My DD6 has a hard time wearing flats bc they slip off of her foot and I can't seem to find any that fit her well. We'll be there in November so I know she can't wear sandals like she would like to wear, but don't want her to wear sneakers with the dress. Any good finds out there that are comfortable and cute with the princess dresses?

My dd has always worn crocs, usually the mary jane style (we had the disney minnie janes for a while) but the regulary crocs were great too.

We always buy the cheap ballet slippers at walmart, they have satin light pink and black. They are super soft and comfortable. they feel like dress up/costume wear. And if the get trashed they are under $10. Although we have never had them get trashed and have worn them to several MNSSHP parties and trick or treating.

How about some cute Mary Janes? (not necessarily crocs) My younger daughter liked to wear dresses to school, and good Mary Janes fit the bill for both looking pretty, and being sturdy enough for recess and PE.

My girls wear tennis shoes. I don't want aches, pains, or injuries. My kids are going strong at the end of MNSSHP and I see other kids in cute shoes dragging. Protect their feet.

What princess is she going to be? What I did when my dd was Tinkerbell was to get her some keds type tennis shoes and dress up the laces. I spray painted the laces and found a green fancy pom to put close up by the toe. It worked perfectly! You couldn't even tell she was wearing tennis shoes.

My niece will be wearing Crocs. She has a couple pairs in different colors. I also have her bring one pair of runners.

We switch out our shoes and try not to wear the same shoes or Crocs two days in a row.

Just because it is Nov don't count out sandal weather. We go every Nov (I used to wear flip flops all the time but my OLD feet can't take it anymore!)and sometimes it is very hot. The only time I can remember being really cold was late last Nov early Dec. I also agree that comfort is important too and wearing sneakers (sparkely or lite up) that match the dress would be cute! Have a great trip!
