Hi guys. My DS is getting married in May. Both DD and I need to get shoes for the wedding. I was thinking about shopping online for the shoes. My DD loves really high heels that are pretty "funky". She always tends to pick these really expensive shoes that I will NOT buy. But... if I could find a reasonable deal online, I might just get her a really cool pair for this special occasion.

Does anyone recommend a good website that has reasonably priced shoes for a wedding?

Congratulations! I've never bought shoes on line; but I keep getting emails from something called Show Dazzle and I want to say they fairl reasonable (dont quote me on that ;) ).
Now I've seen some cute heels at TJ Maxx from all shapes, sizes, heights & colors. You might try there; unless you need specific colors, etc.

I buy a lot from DSW. They have a nice variety of styles and I think prices are pretty good..especially sales and clearance!

Thanks!

We do have a DSW close by. They have closed our TJMaxx stores that are close, but I am sure there is one within driving distance.

I need to get silver and DD is getting black.

I just got married in September :bride:

I picked out my shoes last December I think- I looked forever for the right pair, and actually the pair I found that I liked the most was a very expensive pair of Vera Wangs. I've never owned a pair of shoes in my life that cost more than $50 though (heck, who am I kidding I usually buy at Target/Kohls!) but I splurged for the wedding and don't regret it. I've worn them a dozen times since even- they are very cute flat ballet shoes.

I scoured the internet for months looking for shoes though. These are some of the sites I used:

www.zappos.com
www.6pm.com
www.bellissimabridalshoes.com
www.myglassslipper.com
www.stuartweitzman.com/womens-shoes/bridal/

DSW is another good bet. Silver is a little hard to find during this season though, but DD should have no problem with black.

I ended up buying mine at Neiman Marcus.

Congrats to you!!!

Thank you so much for these links.

Funny that you bought a pair of Vera Wang shoes, because that is the designer brand that my DD has found that she just loves :scared1:. I just don't think it is going to happen unless we can find them at a decent price. It would be a little different if she were the bride. ;)

www.endless.com is the absolute BEST! They offer free shipping AND free return shipping. I ordered numerous pairs of shoes for my wedding last June from them and never had any problems with the returns or the refunds. They do have promo codes and sales fairly often too.

our kohls has Vera shoes on Clearance A lot plus if your a Kohls charge Customer you can use % off codes on top of savings.

As prom time approaches, Payless will have some really cute shoes. My current favorite pair of heels are a pair of Crocs heels. Never have I worn heels that are so comfortable. They have some classic styles and some funky ones. Just thought I'd mention it. :) (of course, for my wedding I wore the same shoes I wore for my junior prom, senior prom, and all the fancy occasions thereafter. They were just darn comfy, and no one could see my feet under my gown! I was sad when they fell apart a few years ago.)

Believe it or not, I just got a pair of Betsey Johnson platform pumps from Amazon. They were $39 and I checked 6pm.com and they were $75 on there!

I love 6pm.com.. BUT prices change daily as does inventory. I bought an amazing pair of 200.00 shoes yesterday for 59.99 with free shipping.

They are running 79.97-99.97 on Amazon right now.

Different prices for different sizes amaze me lol.

I always check the other when buying shoes from either.

I buy all of my shoes online, as I have a narrow foot. I also buy all of my boys' shoes online, as they hate to shop. I only buy from places with free return shipping.

Favorites in order best to least (and least only being price then styles that I like and availability)

Shoebuy.com (always a code out there somewhere)
Endless.com (sometimes a sale - usually posted on their mainpage)
Zappos.com (never a code, but if you need it quickly - WOW! Once placed an order on a Sunday evening about 8:00pm and had them here at 7:30 on a Monday [still haven't figured it out!])
Shoes.com

Another vote for DSW. They have a rather decent selection of dressy shoes from flats to really high heels. I have bought several shoes from there, I especially like the clearance section...you can get some great deals. I actually bought my wedding shoes there for $50.00, they were encrusted with rhinestone dragonflys across the toes :lovestruc.

Re: DSW. If you buy online and want to return them the local DSW will accept the return so you don't have to send them back. I love DSW for this reason alone--not to mention some great deals on their close out rack.:lovestruc
